In the summer, Montreal has an outdoor activity to offer to everyone. For those who prefer rough sports, Les descentes sur le Saint-Laurent offers a chance to ride down the Lachine rapids, and Aventure Boréale proposes packages including transportation and food, for different types of sports, such as canoe, rafting and hiking. Adventurers will be interested by the Site Cavernicole de Saint-Léonard where you can have a guided visit and interpretation of the caves in the area. At the Amphithéâtre Bell (Metro Station Bonaventure), near the Bell Centre, you can practice your ice-skating abilities all year round. The Old Port (Station Champs-de-Mars) is one of the most exciting places for outdoors activities, especially for family fun; various activities are held during the whole summer season. The Mount Royal and Lafontaine parks are very beautiful and safe places for either jogging or biking (the Lafontaine park is situated just a few blocks from us).
